Gull and Rainbow Soar Over Horseshoe Falls

An American Herring Gull soars into a rainbow formed by the billowing mist as water of the Niagara River plunging over Horseshoe Falls. The still capture of the gull juxtaposed to the massive wall of water roaring over the cliff, with the addition of a rainbow. You just cannot plan such an encounter. I think the emotions this image may create are just as complex. Three completely different feelings yet one shot. I can handle situations like that for a moment, but for me certainly cannot reflect daily life too often. (Niagara Falls, Ontario)
