Homeward Bound to Fish Creek

Sailboat on Green Bay at sunset as seen from Tennison Bay with the Strawberry Islands and Chambers Island in the background. The sky had an eeriness to it all day as the Great Lakes region was receiving the smoke from Canadian wildfires, but the impact on the sunset at this point in the day was unexpected. I was taking a series of shots when I noticed the sailboat coming around Eagle Bluff. I was hoping it would make it into the scene at the right time. This picture gives me the feeling of heading home; anticipation that we will be soon tied-up at the dock and eating a good dinner. (Fish Creek, Wisconsin)
