Mountains Emerge Above Glacier’s St. Mary Lake
The sun and mountains begin to emerge late in the afternoon following a day of rain at this overlook of St. Mary Lake near the east end of the Going-to-the-Sun Road – Glacier National Park. I wasn’t sure we would get to see the mountains at all this day, but often after a storm is when some of the best shots are there for the taking. I love how the clouds touch the mountains and also impact the sunshine on the water. It brings a sense of peacefulness and tranquility for me. (St. Mary, Montana)
