Sunrise at Point Imperial in Grand Canyon National Park

The rugged landscape comes into view as the morning sun emerges over Point Imperial – Grand Canyon National Park. As the sun was raising from behind the horizon, the quickly changing shades and colors would reveal more and more of the canyon detail, until the sun went from hidden to fully into the sky and morning arrived. I’m glad I got there early as the drama was just beginning. (North Rim, Arizona)
