Evening Rest

As the sun sets on another day, the daysailer is safely on its station ready for an evening rest. I had to be patient to get this shot, balancing the shoreline’s soft silhouette which frames the scene with the timing of the sun sinking down through the clouds. I think the reflection in the calm water also helps make for a peaceful feeling – Lake Wisconsin. (Lodi, Wisconsin)
