Joyful Starflower

The tiny and delicate beauty of Wisconsin’s spring forests, the Starflower (Lysimachia borealis) stands only 4″ tall in this bed of vibrant green leaves – Logan Creek State Natural Area. For me, the spring collection of wildflowers in Wisconsin is a time for celebration. The announcement of warmth and sunny days.
