You’ve Got Mail
In photography, you always must keep your eye out for the unexpected. We were in Southwest Colorado looking for beautiful hillsides of golden aspens. Colorado is famous for these vistas, and we hit the peak in this part of the state. I’m standing at this spot on the side of the road, looking up at a nice cluster of aspens, when Sue says to turn around and take a picture of those mailboxes. I may have totally missed it. How often are we so intent to see the expected that we miss the unexpected? What colorful arrangements have we overlooked? (La Vita, Colorado)
