Moss, Rock, Rushing Water Zen Lesson

I must be honest, while I’m a religious studies major who has read a lot about world religions, this comes straight from Google… “In Zen philosophy and Eastern poetry, a mossy rock sitting undisturbed in a rushing stream symbolizes steadfastness, calm, and inner peace. While the chaotic water (representing time or life’s troubles) rushes past, the rock remains unmoved, and the moss grows as a sign of quiet endurance.” I thought it was pretty cool and worth posting the entire quote.
