Florida Intracoastal Fishing

These fishermen are testing the waters of the Intracoastal Waterway, and April seems to be the sweet spot for fishing among the mangroves along Florida’s central Gulf Coast. The most common catches here are snook, redfish, and gray snapper. I did a little fishing as a kid and certainly enjoy good seafood, but I have not been out fishing myself in years. However, I have several friends who are passionate and knowledgeable practitioners. (Sarasota, Florida)
