First Sunlight on Cave Point Cedar Trees
Early morning sunshine hitting the cedar trees and limestone cliffs of Lake Michigan at Cave Point County Park. After visiting this park my whole life, this was the first time I arrived before sunrise to get the early morning light on these caves. Not as dramatic as the big crashing waves people often associate with Cave Point, but I think the stillness of the early morning offered a wonderful, tranquil setting. (Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin)
