Green River in Canyonlands National Park

Carving its way through the Colorado Plateau, the rugged path of the Green River as it approaches the confluence with the Colorado River as seen from Grand View Point – Canyonlands Natl Park. I thought, “What could survive out there?” as I tried to imagine the John Wesley Powell expedition making its way through this area on their way to explore the Grand Canyon. (Moab, Utah)
