Miami Skyline from Biscayne National Park

Looking across an expanse of ocean which is Biscayne National Park, with downtown Miami on the distant horizon. 95% of the park’s 270 square miles is water. As such, sailing, paddling and snorkeling are popular ways to experience the park. I was amazed that while we were out on the water exploring this national park, a major city with millions of people seemingly right next to us yet not impacting our day at all. (Homestead, Florida)
