Bison Crossing Little Missouri River

A solitary American bison crosses the Little Missouri River looking to rejoin the herd which is feeding in a nearby pasture – Theodore Roosevelt National Park. Many times, it’s just about being in the right place at the right time. When I took this shot, I felt like this guy was just doing his own thing, without caring at all about what the rest of the herd thought or was busy doing. (Medora, North Dakota)
