Royalty Reigns in this Lake Ontario City
The Prince of Wales Hotel was built in 1864 and was renamed in 1901 and 1910 after visits from very special royal guests. Queen Elizabeth II also stayed here when she visited Canada in 1973. When we first arrived, it was quiet and the sun was just getting above the buildings. That helped make this shot work, as lighting on the building and gardens added so much to the mood.(Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario)
