Snow Covered Hand of God

A scene reflecting a snow-filled winter. The iconic Parry Peak, often referred to as the “Hand of God,” with an elevation 13,397 feet, is located on the Continental Divide in the Arapaho National Forest’s James Peak Wilderness. I love the three distinct layers in the picture: trees, above-timberline snow-covered peak, topped by Colorado blue-bird sky. It has a very clean look with perfect lighting to bring out the mountain’s three vertical ridges. (Winter Park, Colorado)
