Rushing Water in Olympic National Forest
Dungeness River cascades down from the mountains – Olympic National Forest. I remember the trip to get to this spot. Our niece who lives in Washington drove us up a long rocky, rutted road, where we stopped at a little remote parking lot. We then hiked up through the forest of tall trees and lush vegetation to finally reach this section of the Dungeness River. I was excited to capture this image. A little slower shutter speed, requiring a steady hand to keep the background from blurring, created just enough movement in the water to energize the picture. It was so refreshing to be here and take in this beautiful location. (Sequim, Washington)
